So you have decided to leave a mark in cyberspace...

(taphover icon to highlight )

They say "just write", "put something up", but aside from the huge can'o'decisions this opens up (name? tech stack? theme? focused vs broad?) is the indimitation of branding. Is this a tech blog? A life chronicle? Essay space? Project showcase?

What do I want to be known for/as?

I wrote this, then realized the right way for me is to bushwhack a desire path through possibility space.

Even a sense of fun creativity is no panacea – playful creativity takes time. I could get lost on side paths and never actually write. And I want to be valuable – to be worth the time to read. But if I scattershot myself onto the web how will people read the high quality stuff, skip the WIPs, the dead ends, the half starts? I don't want to limit myself (unless that's the point, for creativity's sake) but I do want cognitive kindness.
